Summary

George Mumford started working with Phil Jackson and the Chicago Bulls during the Michael Jordan era and was with them through their 6 championships. He followed Phil to LA and where they won three more titles. Since then he’s taught mindfulness techniques to peak performers in all walks of life, helping the “whole person” move forward with “ease and curiosity at an optimum pace.”

Key Takeaway / How I've implemented

Since reading the book I practice the “mindfulness is the space between stimulus and response” mantra on a daily basis. This book is what demystified mindfulness and specifically meditation for me, making it approachable and actionable as opposed to a distant practice reserved for monks in a cave.
